In 2006, Eric Dust (Enrico Pietrantozzi) and Ghode Wielandt (Corrado Giuliano) founded the Signs Preyer, the project is immediately joined by Viktor Kaj (Andrea Vecchione Cardini) and James Mapo (Giacomo Alessandro), a line-up that still remained unchanged and maybe is this the extra edge of these four musicians from Orvieto (Umbria). Two years after their birth they entered for the first time in the recording studio "Bonsai Records" to rearrange their songs.

Showing off a non-stop live shows alongside artists such Paul Di Anno, Helmet, Lafaro, Trick or Treat and Corrosion of Conformity, and many more; The Signs Preyer supported by the label Red Cat Records, propose us a first self titled full length really explosive.

Nine tracks that mix southern metal, thrash and grunge elements skilfully combined crossover and stoner, that won't leave you cold , cause the technique, the heart and passion of these four guys are clearly felt both in the wicked notes of "It comes back real " underpinned by a cogent refrain (which I assure you, it will stick in your head a long time), and in the dark and melodic notes interspersed with heavy guitar riffs of " Dark soul" in which the voice of Wielandt sometimes reminds David Draiman, in a song that deserve a special mention, with gloomy and warm shades, reaching its peak with an energetic and desperate final guitar solo that fades to a barely audible arpeggio that closes the inspired piece.

The clear influence of Black Label Society and Machine Head are revealed in songs like "Just to kill you", "Killer instinct", the lethal "Hell" and the title track "Signs Preyer" fast and incisive, masterfully directed by the groovy drumming of Mapo.

Nice try also for "Painless Pain" song with a rhythmic catchy, it's impossible to stand still while listening.

In overall an album with good credentials, full-bodied and powerful sound, where nothing is left to chance and the music is sustained by the incredible feeling of the band.

A valid and interesting product, you can fluently listen to it and does not disappoint;

A Band to keep an eye on, that certainly could reserve some good surprises in a short future.

Nel 2006 Eric Dust (Enrico Pietrantozzi) e Ghode Wielandt ( Corrado Giuliano) fondano i Signs Preyer, subito vengono inseriti nel progetto Viktor Kaj (Andrea Vecchione Cardini) e James Mapo (Giacomo Alessandro), una line-up tutt'oggi rimasta invariata che forse è proprio la marcia in più di questi quattro musicisti d' Orvieto ( Umbria). Due anni dopo la loro nascita entrano per la prima volta nello studio di registrazione " Bonsai Records" per riarrangiare i loro brani.

Forti di un attività live no-stop al fianco di artisti del calibro di Paul Di Anno, Helmet, Lafaro, Trick or Treat e i Corrosion of Conformity, per citarne alcuni; I Signs Preyer, supportati egregiamente dall'etichetta discografica Red Cat Records ci propongono un'omonimo disco di debutto assolutamente entusiasmante.

Nove tracce in cui si mescolano southern metal, thrash e grunge sapientemente accostati ad elementi crossover e stoner, che non vi lasceranno indifferenti, poichè la tecnica, il cuore e la passione di questi quattro ragazzi trasudano sia nelle note feroci di "It comes back real" sorretta da un convincente refrain (che vi assicuro, vi resterà in mente a lungo), sia nelle note oscure e melodiche inframezzate da pesanti riff di chitarra di "Dark soul" nella quale la voce di Wielandt ricorda a tratti quella di David Draiman, in una canzone degna di menzione, dalle tinte fosche e calde che raggiungono l'apice con un energico e disperato solo di chitarra finale che sfuma su un arpeggio appena udibile che chiude l'ispirato pezzo.

Le chiare influenze dei Black Label Society e dei Machine Head si palesano in brani come "Just to kill you", "Killer instinct", la massacrante "Hell" e la title track "Signs preyer" veloce e decisa, magistralmente diretta dall'incedere coinvolgente e martellante delle pelli di Mapo.

Ottima prova anche "Painless Pain" canzone dalle ritmiche accattivanti, impossibile da ascoltare restando fermi.

In sintesi un album con delle buone credenziali, un sound corposo e potente, in cui nulla è lasciato al caso e la musica è coadiuvata da un feeling tra la band tangibile.

Un prodotto valido ed interessante, che si ascolta fluentemente e non delude;

Un gruppo da non perdere di vista, che di sicuro potrebbe riservarci in un futuro non troppo lontano delle belle sorprese.
