Più di dieci anni di esperienza, sei pubblicazioni ufficiali, una marea di live actions, fantastici video, concerti importanti da aprire e perfino una nuova formazione dal 2011.
Esatto, ho delle buone notizie per tutti voi. I Superbutt, che potreste anche già aver sentito da qualche parte, sono passati a un genere più solido e basato sul metal moderno, sebbene scorra ancora del sangue rock n’ roll nelle loro vene.
La nuova edizione di “Music For Animals” si articola in due dischi: dieci tracce dalla playlist originale, più altre sette che includono anche pezzi in ungherese.
Il primo cd è proprio la prova di quanto il gruppo stia diventando internazionale e anche più concentrato su un tipo di musica impegnata. Non tutti possono cogliere immediatamente le differenze fra il loro vecchio sound e le nuove canzoni poiché il passaggio è stato piuttosto graduale, ma i fan sicuramente sì. Basta sentire “Cleaver”, “Best Plays”, “The Devil You Run With”… Forse le melodie più di transizione. E ora, signore e signori, lasciatemi elencare invece quelle tre che vi bombarderanno I timpani: “Evil Blues”, “Of This Gloom” e “Revolting Kids”. Qui troviamo quella componente ‘sfacciata’ che congiunge i due dischi fra loro continuando fino a fine playlist.
Anche se il secondo cd sembra essere ancora un po’ tradizionale (“Rockin' In The Free World”, “She’s A Lady”, “Panic”), racchiude la parte migliore della musica e dell’anima dei Superbutt. Non importa se torniamo indietro alle origini. I riff di chitarra sono più freschi, energici, orecchiabili e allo stesso tempo aggressivi. Perciò, a mio avviso, quasto è molto più interessante del disco 1.
Gente, ogni edizione limitata ha i suoi vantaggi, quindi approfittatene se potete!

Yes, I have some good news for you all. Superbutt, which you might already know from somewhere, switched to a heavier modern metal-based genre, though the guys still have some rock n’ roll blood running through their veins.
The new edition of “Music For Animals” consists of two discs: ten tracks from the original playlist, plus seven others including some hungarian pieces as well.
The first cd definitely proofs how the group is getting international and also focused on an engaged type of music. One does not simply catch the difference between their earlier sound and these new songs because the changes have been pretty gradual, but fans surely do. Just listen to “Cleaver”, “Best Plays”, “The Devil You Run With”… Maybe the most transitional melodies. And now, ladies and rockers, let me name the three ones to blast your ears instead: “Evil Blues”, “Of This Gloom” and “Revolting Kids”. Here we can find the kick-ass component that joins both the discs to each other and goes on until the end of the playlist.
Although the second cd seems to be still a bit traditional (“Rockin' In The Free World”, “She’s A Lady”, “Panic”), it owns the best side of Superbutt’s music and soul. No matter if we’re back to the origins. Guitar riffs are fresher, energic, catchy and aggressive at the same time. It is therefore way more appealing than disc 1, in my opinion.
Every limited edition has indeed its benefits, so you should take heed of this folks!
